A hallmark of W&L’s legal education is the individual attention students receive from professors, both in and outside of the classroom. W&L Law seeks to endow a professorship to recognize a faculty member whose exceptional teaching and engaged scholarship focus on developing our law students’ professional skills and identities while also being an engaged member of the University community. Ensuring every student has the tools to succeed at W&L Law is integral to the student-focused community within Lewis Hall. Endowing the Academic Success Program will provide the much-needed resources to enhance and expand the scope of this nascent program designed to put every student on the path to success.

W&L Law continues to focus its efforts on providing an exceptional learning environment for its students. Enhancing the first-floor entrance will present a more inviting and cohesive introductory experience to prospective students, alumni, and visitors. Renovations to Lewis Hall will bring necessary technological and interior design upgrades to the Dean’s conference room and the community conference room, both of which host classes, speakers, and visitors.
